Dr. Miriam Camboni

Dr. Miriam Camboni, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Camboni graduated with honors from Sassari University, Italy in 2002. From 2002 to 2006, she trained in Anesthetics at the University of Sassari and successfully completed an internship at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO), Milan.

Since 2007, she has served as a Consultant Anesthesiologist in the Hospital Son llatzer Palma de Mallorca, Spain. During her time there, she developed skills in pre-operative visits, general and regional (ecography-guided nerve blocks and intravenous cannulation) anesthesiology, anesthesia outside the operating room, major and minor ambulatory surgery, acute pain unit, post-anesthetia recovery and intensive care unit.

In the past ten years, Dr. Camboni has worked alongside surgeons in an environment which has continually ensured best practice. Additionally, she has dedicated two weeks per year over the past five years in developing countries in the Saharawi refugees camps in South Algeria with the Amigos del pueblo Saharawi de Las Islas Baleares NGO, to improve local health outcomes in urologic and gynecologic surgeries.

In her free time, Dr. Camboni enjoys a healthy lifestyle, yoga and hiking. She is proficient in three languages and is an avid traveler.​
