Dr. Miziana Mokbel

Dr. Mokbel has over 7 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology. She obtained her BSc degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with distinction then her MD degree from the University of Balamand (Beirut- Lebanon) before specializing in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the same university. Dr Mokbel pursued her education in France by joining the University of Paris Descartes and having her fellowship at the Hopital Europeen Georges Pompidou , Hopital André Mignot in Versailles, and last at the Paris Breast Center where she focused on Breast Oncologic and Reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Mokbel obstained three Inter University Diploma (DIU) in: Gynaecologic Oncology and Breast Oncology from the University of Paris Descartes in France Gynaecologic Endoscopy with a European certificate from the University of Clermont Ferrand in France Breast Oncologic and reconstructive surgery from the University of Gustave Roussy in France

Apart from her clinical practice, Dr Mokbel is the first and last author in a number of publications focusing mostly on sentinel lymph node in cervical and endometrial cancer.

As side education, Dr. Mokbel holds a BA degree in Political and Administrative Sciences from the Lebanese University. Before joining NMC Dr. Mokbel was a specialist in number of reputed hospitals in Lebanon among which Saint Georges Hospital University Medical Center, Rosary Sisters Medical center, Baabda Governmental hospital and in Health Avenue Medical Center she works in these centers as an Obstetrician/gynaecologist and breast oncologic surgeon.
