Dr. Mohamed Elkafafi

Dr. Mohamed Elkafafi finished his MBBCh in 2001 from Mansoura University, Egypt. He took his MD of Pediatrics at Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2006. He worked as a PALS Instructor for American Heart Association. In 2014, he completed his MRCPCH at the Royal College of Pediatrics and Childhood in London, United Kingdom.

Following completion of his residency training in Egypt, he worked as a Pediatrics and Neonatology specialist in a private hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2007. After four years, he held the position for Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) specialist and then appointed as Acting Senior Specialist in a public general hospital in Kuwait in 2010. He then moved to UAE in a stand-alone hospital with pediatric LTAC services in Abu Dhabi as a Pediatric ICU Specialist.

He also authored publications on pediatric research.

His area of interests include mastering management skills for both acute and chronic PICU patients skillful in all procedures related to PICU and NICU, bedside ultrasound and ECHO, Mastering all types of conventional and high frequency ventilators, management of neonatal and pediatric emergencies, retrieving high-risk patients, neonatal resuscitation of all high-risk deliveries, mastering nitric oxide inhalation.

Currently, he is a member of the Irish Medical Council (IMC) registered as Pediatric Specialist Membership of Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health Member of the Saudi Critical Society (SCS) Egyptian, Saudi, Kuwaiti, HAAD and DHA Commission for Health Specialist Licenses.
