Dr. Mohammad Alkhamees

Dr. Mohammad Alkhamees is a Consultant and an Assistant Professor of Urology, Urological Oncology, Robotic and Minimal Invasive Surgery. He started his education at the College of Medicine, King Saud University where he graduated with Honors. He then joined the Saudi Board of Urology at King Abdulaziz Medical City – Ministry of National Guard and finished his training with distinctive performance as he was rewarded the best resident during his training. He was also the chief resident and his training centre and over the whole central region under the umbrella of Saudi Commission For Health Specialities (SCFHS). After that, he joined University College London Hospitals UCLH (United Kingdom) where he did a two-year fellowship in Urological Oncology, Robotic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Al Alkhamees holds an academic position as Assistant Professor of Urology in the College of Medicine at Majmaah University. He is actively involved in teaching and training of medical students. He is very active in medical research in the fields of Urology and Medical education and has multiple publications in very well-respected peer-reviewed journals and numerous presentations in national and international conferences.  He is an active member in the American Urology Association (AUA), The European Association of Urology (EAU) and the Saudi Urological Association (SUA).

Dr. Alkhamees treats a wide variety of urological conditions and has an additional special training in managing Urological malignancies medically and surgically (with the help of the robot). He is one of few surgeons in the country who performs Robotic Prostatectomy and Robotic Cystectomy (surgical removal of the prostate and the bladder with the use of key-hole approach with the robot).

• 2020-till now: Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
