Dr. Mona Marwan

Dr.Mona Marwan has over 15 years’ experience in ophthalmology. She finished her MBBCH from Tanta University, Egypt in 2005 and thereafter finished her Master degree from Benha University, Egypt in 2012. She has also completed phacoemulsification course from Laxmi Institue, Panvel, India and Dar Eloyoun Hospital, Egypt.

Dr. Mona worked as ophthalmology specialist at Tanta ophthalmology hospital, Egypt and thereafter she did her fellowship of refractive surgery at Roayah Vision Correction Center for Refractive surgery, Egypt. After completion of the fellowship, she worked as refractive surgery specialist at the same center. She also worked as medical director of Roayah Vision Correction Center for Refractive surgery, Egypt. She did her Botox and Fillers usage in facial medical aesthetics, Egypt. In 2017, she moved to Abu Dhabi and continued her practices as an ophthalmology refractive surgery specialist.

Dr. Mona is a fellow of the International Council of ophthalmology from 2018 and the Arab Board of ophthalmology from 2019. She is a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive surgery and Egyptian Medical Association. She was also speaker of the World Ophthalmology Congress Abu Dhabi 2012. She is coauthor of the Refractive surgery and Oculoplasty Chapter at Oculoplastic Surgery Book 2020 by Springer.
