​Dr. Nahed Aqeel Nasser

Dr. Nahed Aqeel Nasser, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician specialized in General Surgery at the Digestive Disease Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Nasser was a Specialist Surgeon in General Surgery at Kuwait University Hospital, Sanaa, Yemen.

Dr. Nasser received her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Aden, Yemen. She completed her residency in the General Surgery Department at Kuwait University Hospital, a teaching hospital in Yemen, where she interacted with medical students, senior and junior residents, as well as senior consultants.

Dr. Nasser’s main area of interest is in breast diseases and proctology. She started breast cancer awareness programs for the public and presented talks in Arabic. She also has an interest in anorectal disease and is working towards becoming a Colorectal Surgeon.
