Dr. Nathan Watson, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Emergency Medicine Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Watson was a Senior Partner in CEP America, a highly regarded democratic physician partnership. He worked as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department of Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley, California, US for fifteen years and served as its Assistant Medical Director for four years.
Dr. Watson has a lengthy history of volunteer medical work, including international disaster relief, clinic work in underserved countries and communities and event medicine.
Dr. Watson earned his medical doctorate at Stanford University in Stanford, California, US. He then underwent an internship in Emergency Medicine at Stanford University Hospital in Stanford, California, US, where he also performed his residency in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Watson is an author to quite a few peer-reviewed scientific articles, multiple abstracts and book chapters and has made scientific presentations at several national Emergency Medicine meetings. His research has included a wide variety of topics, most notably alcohol abuse and treatment of allergic reactions.
Dr. Watson resides in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is married to Gudrun Watson, RN and has two step-children and a pet Goldendoodle. He enjoys travel, cooking, exercise, photography and walking his dog.
