Dr. Nawal Al Mutawais Fellow of Canadian Endocrine (FCCE) and American College of Endocrinology (FACE)and holds a professional membership to the Endocrine Society (USA), American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist, Emirates Diabetes Society, Canadian Diabetes Association, national committee for diabetes disease fighting and gulf committee for Diabetes.

She is also the proud recipient of the distinguished Physician of Mohammed Bin Rashid Government Excellence Award in year 2014 and Sharjah District Excellence Award in 2013.

Experience
Dr. Al Mutawa is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist at University Hospital Sharjah. She is also associated with Al Qassimi & Kuwaiti Hospital Sharjah as Consultant Internal Medicine, Endocrinologist and Diabetologist.

She was the Medical Director and Head of the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetologyin Adult in Kuwait Hospital, Sharjah since 2009 until 2015.
Dr. Nawal delivered numerous local, regional and international forums and conferences. She has 4 research studies published in the Middle East, Canada and Denmark. She was also on the Board of Sharjah Medical District as a CME Coordinator and Sharjah University Student’s Coordinator at Kuwaiti Hospital.
