Dr. Paul Aoun is an Endocrinology Consultant with over 15 years of medical experience in the United States. Dr. Aoun completed his medical and graduate studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He then pursued an internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital Program, where he subsequently became Chief Resident. He performed his clinical fellowship in Endocrinology & Diabetes at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. In 2011, he moved to South Florida where he was practicing as a clinical endocrinologist until he relocated to Dubai in 2018.
Dr. Aoun also holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in neuro-endocrinology. His academic and research experiences encompass multiple areas in endocrinology including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary disorders. He has several publications on these topics and has presented his work at various scientific meetings.
In addition to his clinical duties and research work, Dr. Aoun has been involved in many leadership roles. He served as an Affiliate Assistant Professor to the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. He is an active member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and the Endocrine Society. In 2017, he was named as one of "America's Best Doctors" by the American Health Council.
Dr. Aoun aspires to continue contributing his experiences to making a positive difference in the region through education and clinical activities.

I recently took my mother to see Dr. Paul after seeing many specialists and she truly had a great experience. Dr. Paul is an empathetic doctor who really cares about his patients. He showed strong communication skills and made my mom really comfortable. He established a great doctor-patient relationship from the first consultation and really boosted her morale focusing on treating the patient and not the disease.
