Dr. Pooja Vaswani

Dr. Pooja Vaswani is a highly experienced Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 30 years of experience in the field. She speaks fluent Arabic, as she has worked in middle-east for over 19 years including countries like UAE and Sultanate of Oman.

She received her medical degree (MBBS) from Government Medical College, Nagpur, India in 1985 and obtained her postgraduate degree (MD) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in year 1992 from the prestigious Indira Gandhi Govt. Medical College, Nagpur, India. She then completed her MRCOG from Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, UK in 2005 followed by Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery from Laparoscopy Hospital, New Delhi, India in 2008. Later she pursued 1 year training in assisted reproduction and completed her Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from D.Y. Patil University, Mumbai in 2015. In 2017, Dr. Pooja was awarded prestigious Fellowship from Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, UK (FRCOG).

She started her career as a Lecturer in Indira Gandhi Govt. Medical College, Nagpur where she mastered her clinical experience by managing a variety of complicated clinical cases. Apart from enriching her clinical experience she gained excellent experience in teaching and education through her role as a Lecturer for Obstetrics and Gynaecology while working in Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Nagpur, India. She moved to Middle East in 1999 and has worked with various prestigious institutions. Dr. Pooja has worked in UAE at SEHA managed healthcare facilities namely Mafraq hospital and Madinat Zayed Hospital for 6 years and with Ministry of Health, Sultanate of Oman for over 9 years. Prior to joining Brightpoint Royal Women’s Hospital, she worked as a specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecologist at Universal Hospital.
