Dr. Raafat Lakkis

Dr Raafat Lakkis renowned dermatologist with more than 17 years of experience in his field, Dr Lakkis has acquired expertise and became a pioneer in the field of Cosmetic Dermatology and Laser Therapy.

He graduated from the American University of Beirut, receiving his degree in Medicine in 1996 followed by his Dermatology degree in 2000.

Apart from being a double board-certified doctor, Dr Lakkis was the first Lebanese Dermatologist to acquire the Arab Board Certificate in Dermatology in 2000. He is an active member of the Lebanese Order of Physicians and the Lebanese Dermatologic Society. He is also licensed in Dubai, KSA, Qatar, and the UAE.

Dr Lakkis’ list of achievements is impressive and includes:

• From 2002 till 2006, he was Head of the Dermatology Department in Obagi Center in Khobar, KSA.
• In 2004, Dr Lakkis underwent additional intensive training in the United States expanding his experience and perfecting his skills.
• In 2007, he established his private practice in Lebanon, while maintaining his job in KSA, and expanding to Qatar and UAE.
• Dr Lakkis is the founder of the hugely-successful Skinbeat Medical Spa in which has carved a renowned reputation for its treatments that utilise state-of-art technology.

Dr Lakkis travels frequently to Europe and the United States to complete training and ensure he stays up-to-date with the latest trends and the medical advances in the field of dermatology.
