Dr. Rabih Maatouk

Dr Maatouk is a consultant plastic surgeon, reconstructive surgeon, and maxillofacial surgeon with a subspeciality in hand surgery. He is a Lebanese-German who speaks five languages fluently including Arabic, English, and German which facilitates his communication with the variety of Ethnicities that represent the rich mixture of our Emirati society.

In 2005 Dr. Maatouk completed his medical studies in Toulouse, France, then moved to complete his 6-year specialization in the year 2013 in plastic, aesthetic, reconstructive and hand surgery in Baden-Wuerttemberg Germany.

Shortly after, Dr. Rabih headed the department of plastic and reconstructive surgery at a 1000 bed-hospital in his homeland Germany.

During his years of practice, Dr. Maatouk performed thousands of plastic and aesthetic surgery procedures including Liposuction, breast operations, body lifts and a variety of facial procedures including face-lifts, blepharoplasties, orthognathic surgeries and Jaw/Chin corrections.

His specialty includes complicated microsurgical reconstructive surgery including breast reconstruction with free flaps (DIEP, IGAP, SGAP…) after cancer-associated mastectomies, as well as the field of complicated hand surgery.

Dr. Maatouk knows that the results of plastic surgery procedures should look as natural as they can be. He enjoys the small things in life and believes that being honest and friendly with his patients is the quickest way to their wellbeing.

Dr. Maatouk is an active member of the European Medical Board of Germany, the European Medical Board of Bulgaria, the European Medical Board of Lebanon, the Lebanese Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.
