Dr. Rana Jamal

Dr. Rana Jamal is a Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Danat Al Emarat Hospital and HealthPlus Family Center. Her areas of expertise include management of normal and high risk pregnancy, various uses of ultrasound in antenatal diagnosis and surveillance, polycystic ovaries, menstrual disorders, menopause, cervical cancer and breast pathology, family planning & infertility.

EDUCATION

Dr. Jamal studied at prestigious French universities and medical institutions including Rene-Descartes University Paris and Victor Dupouy Medical Center. She completed medical school at the University of Lebanon, in 2000, and furthered her post graduate studies and training across a number of leading hospitals in Beirut, leading to specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology as early as 2005.

She completed her sub specialization in High Risk Pregnancy from the University of Paris VI, and has practiced with a range of reputed healthcare providers in France, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Jamal is a member of the Lebanese Order of Physicians-Beirut as well as the Lebanese society of OBGYN.
