Dr. Randa Ahmed completed her MBBS from Tanta University, Egypt in 2002. She later completed her Post-Graduate Master Degree in Paediatrics and Neonatology from BENHA University, Egypt in 2011.

Dr. Randa also received Specialty Certificate in Paediatrics and Neonatology from BENHA University in Egypt at May 2011 and Egyptian Fellowship in 2016.

Her key areas of interests are paediatric intensive care unit (PICU). Metabolic disorders, hematology diseases. Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Mechanical Ventilator and Resuscitation.

Prior to joining NMC Healthcare Dr. Randa has worked in Ministry of Health, Egypt where she was resident receiving training in paediatrics and neonatology. She later worked at Al Jedaani hospital in Jeddah, KSA as Specialist Paediatrics and Neonatology.

Dr. Randa’s areas of interest are Neonatal ICU (especially in dealing with Mechanical ventilator) and management of preterm babies.
