Dr. Ranya Khairy Ammar

Dr. Ranya Khairy Ammar has obtained her MBBCH from Tanta Medical School, Egypt in 2000 and her Master’s Degree in Pediatrics from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2009. She completed BLS, PALS and NRP programs.

Dr. Ranya has more than 16 years of intensive medical experience in Egypt, KSA and UAE as a Specialist in Pediatric and Neonatology. She worked as a Pediatrician and Neonatologist for 8 years in Al Menshawy Hospital, Egypt - first as a Resident and then as a Specialist. She also worked at Al Mashfa Maternity and Childhood Hospitals in KSA as a Pediatric and Neonatology Specialist after which she continued her practice in distinguished Pediatric clinics in the UAE.

Dr. Ranya’s key areas of interests are managing cases of bronchial asthma, chest infection, pneumonia, upper respiratory tract infection, otitis media, allergic rhinitis, gastroenteritis, gastritis and reflux oesophagitis, constipation, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, urinary tract infection, enuresis, screening and management of anemia and vitamin D deficiency, dietary support for the first year of life and handling variety of neonatal diseases from day 1 of life.
