Dr. Raquel Martinez

Spanish Board in Medicine and Surgery 1992 with European Union Qualification.

She completed her four years residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the University Hospital Marques de Valdecilla in Cantabria, Spain and got her Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist Degree by the Spanish Ministry of Health with European Union validity in 1998.

She has been a specialist for more than ten years in an UNICEF awarded Baby friendly hospital where she worked at the Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit and was in charge of the Obstetrics ultrasound department as well as a breastfeeding consultant.

She has been qualified as a sonographer for Fetal Anomalies Screening programs following the Fetal Medicine Foundation Standards of care.

She has also a wide experience in diagnostic and therapeutic hysteroscopy an has been a training teacher for medical staff in cervix pathology , colposcopy and Human papilloma virus management.
