Ms. Rasha Badawi has more than 12 years of experience in (speech and language therapy). Ms. Rasha used to work in different sittings such as schools, rehabilitation and special needs centers. She is bilingual (Arabic/English), Her clinical experience includes working with children and adults with various degrees of speech, language and communication disorders, including providing speech and language therapy sessions for children and adults presenting with different problems, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Language delay, Stuttering, Articulation disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), hearing impairment, language disorders, auditory processing disorder, developmental disorders, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability. She provides parental guidance, training for parents, performs speech and language assessments, providing speech and language therapy sessions for children, adolescents and adults, conducts school visits and offers recommendations for schools, teachers and caregivers. She also delivers seminars, workshops and presentations related to speech and language disorders.

EDUCATION

Ms. Rasha has completed her Bachelor degree from University of Jordan in Hearing and Speech Sciences 2007, Amman, Jordan. She is certified with the essential programs related to speech and language therapy, including:

• HANEN program for Parents of Children with social communication problems, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Language Delay / Based on Canada,
• Linda mood-Bell Programs to develop the sensory-cognitive processes that underlie reading and comprehension, California/USA.
• Makaton Beginners Foundation and follow up programs (Makaton is a language program using signs and symbols to help people to communicate.  It is designed to support spoken language and the signs and symbols are used with speech, in spoken word order) / Based on UK.
• ADOS, AUTISM DIAGNOSTIC OBSERVATION SCHEDULE (ADOS- 2), Instrument for diagnosing and assessing Autism.
• The Listening Program Certified Provider/ Listening Coach.
