Dr. Rekha Santosh

Dr. Rekha Santosh is a Dermatologist with over 16 years of experience. She earned a Bachelor of Medicine degree from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2001 and a Master of Medicine degree in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College of Manipal University in 2006. She is passionate about cosmetic dermatology and was certified in Aesthetic Medicine in 2010 by the International Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Additionally, in 2014, she earned a Certification in Injectables (Botox and Fillers) from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She continued her education in aesthetic medicine by earning additional certification from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Additionally, she holds a European Society of Laser Dermatology’s International Certificate in Lasers and Energy-based Devices. In 2003, she began her career as a Dermatology Resident in her native country. After three years, she joined Credence Hospital in India as a Consultant Dermatologist, where she gained experience treating women’s skin concerns. In 2007, she joined Bangalore Baptist Hospital as a Consultant Dermatologist and Head of the Dermatology Unit, multi-specialty tertiary care and teaching hospital in India. In 2011, she relocated to the United Arab Emirates and continued her practice as a Specialist Dermatologist in an Abu Dhabi private hospital. Her areas of expertise include aesthetic medicine, laser hair removal, fractional lasers, Botox, facial rejuvenation, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for hair loss management, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, cryotherapy, biologics for psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, and patch testing for dermatitis. She is a Member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, the Emirates Dermatological Society, and the Indian Dermatological Association.
