Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Hegazin was Assistant Professor in the Division of Internal Medicine at Ohio State University East, Columbus City, Ohio, also working in a clinical role in critical care medicine. Dr. Hegazin previously worked for the International Organization for Migration providing care for refugees with a variety of illnesses, physical and mental needs. During this time, she led a medical escort team for refugees who required high-level care and assistance during transfer to their safe haven. Dr. Hegazin received her medical degree from Mu’tah University, Mu’tah, Jordan, before completing a residency in internal medicine
