Dr. Sahar Tariq

Dr. Sahar Tariq has over 9 years of experience in Interventional Cardiology. Prior to joining NMC, Dr. Sahar was Consultant Interventional Cardiologist / Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Medicare Cardiac and General Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan. She was Post Fellow in Interventional Cardiology & Cardiac Emergency and Fellow in Adult Cardiology at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Karachi, Pakistan. In addition, she has also worked with Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, Pakistan as Consultant Cardiologist & Senior Registrar..

Dr. Sahar has completed MBBS from University of Karachi, Pakistan and Fellowship in Cardiology Liaquat National Hospital and National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases. She has also completed Post Fellowship Interventional Cardiology at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases. Author of two research papers on Stent Thrombosis in International Journals.

Dr. Sahar has expertise in Management of ischemic heart diseases, Heart failure management, Medical management of arrhythmias, Valvular heart diseases and other cardiac diseases, 2D Echocardiography, Pharmacological and exercise Stress Echocardiography, Treadmill Stress Test, Coronary Angiography and Angioplasty including Complex interventions.
