Dr. Sandeep Jakhere

Dr Sandeep Jakhere finished his graduation (MBBS) from K E M Hospital in Mumbai, India in the year 2002. He then pursued his MD in Radiology in Mumbai and successfully obtained the MD degree in 2007. He then appeared for the DNB Radiology degree which he completed in 2008.

After his post-graduation in Radiology, Dr Sandeep Jakhere worked as a Consultant Radiologist and Assistant Professor in a 2000 bedded Tertiary care Hospital in the heart of Mumbai which is attached to a Medical College. His work involved not only interpretation of imaging studies but also providing training to the Post graduate MD students. He gained extensive experience in CT, MRI and other cross sectional and interventional procedures during his tenure.

He was promoted as Associated Professor in 2014, when he moved to Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Thane, India.

Dr Sandeep Jakhere has authored more than 25 publications in National and International peer reviewed journals. He has also delivered lectures at many prestigious National conferences and Clinical meetings.

He has served as a reviewer for many National and International Radiology journals including Indian Journal of Radiology, Skeletal Radiology and South African Journal of Radiology. He is a Subject Editor at Webmedcentral. He is also a member of many prestigious Radiological societies including Indian Radiological and Imaging Association and European Society of Radiology.
