Dr. Sandhya Rani

Dr. Sandhya is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with exhaustive experience of thirty years. She pursued her MBBS from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam; Diploma and MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada both affiliated to Andhra University, India. She further obtained membership of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (MRCOG, UK) in 2006 and was awarded Fellowship (FRCOG, UK) in 2018.

After post-graduating in Obgyn, she worked in a Specialty Maternity and Pediatric referral hospital in Kerman, provincial headquarters in Iran. During her stay in Iran she gained extensive experience in managing obstetric emergencies, high risk pregnancies, gynecological surgeries, and ultrasonography.

In 1991, Dr. Sandhya relocated to the UAE and since then has been has been associated with renowned private healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi. Her areas of expertise include infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome, family planning, contraceptive counseling, management of premenstrual syndrome, abnormal uterine bleeding, menopausal care, vaginal surgeries, perineal repair, reproductive endocrinology and antenatal care.

Dr. Sandhya has done certification courses in Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy and Ultrasonography. She has been trained in infertility and assisted reproductive technologies. To keep herself abreast with the latest developments in her field, she keeps attending numerous national and international conferences & workshops.
