Dr. Santa P. Pilgaard

Dr. Santa P. Pilgaard, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Critical Care Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Pilgaard worked as a Consultant Anesthesiologist and Intensivist in different hospitals in Denmark, Norway and Greenland. Her areas of specialization is perioperative care across all surgical specialties, all kinds of anesthesia, included ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and difficult airway, as well as intensive care medicine.

In addition, Dr. Pilgaard has extensive experience in prehospital emergency service often facing life-threatening conditions.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
