With more than 14 years of experience, her scope of services includes early intervention in communication, swallowing & feeding, voice and fluency disorders. She also provides assessment and therapy for speech & language delays/disorders for children and adults. She specializes in swallowing and feeding disorders for neonatal, children and adults patients, instrumental assessment for swallowing disorders – Barium Swallow Study. Additionally, she provides assessment and therapy for voice and fluency disorders.

Ms. Sara is the Founder and President of the Emirates Speech Language Pathology Society under Emirates Medical Association. The ESLPS is the First acknowledged legal body representing the profession of speech language pathology in the UAE.

Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Ms. Sara worked as a Senior Speech and Language Pathologist in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi. She has acquired an extensive and high level international experience (USA, Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East) in the field of speech-language pathology.

Ms. Sara is a Quadrilingual (Arabic, English, French, and Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist and provides treatment to patients in all these languages.

EDUCATION

Ms. Sara Bachar earned her Bachelor Degree in Speech Language Pathology from College of Education’s Sciences and Psychology in The University of Malaga in Spain, 2004.
