Dr. Sausan Abdul Rahman

Dr. Sausan Abdul Rahman works at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Sausan is committed to achieving the best possible health outcomes and assisting women in having a positive birth experience. In 1994, she earned her MBChB from Iraq’s Al Nahrain College of Medicine. Her thirst for knowledge and experience in this field led her to join the Arab Board of Certification, and she received her Arab Board Certification in the year 2000. Until 2007, she was the Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at the University of Iraq. She then relocated to the United Arab Emirates, where she practiced as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology for six years in a private healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Sausan is particularly interested in complex obstetrical and surgical procedures and high-risk pregnancies. She is committed to delivering exceptional results with the utmost maternal satisfaction through instrumental deliveries such as forceps, ventose extractions, and water birth. Additionally, she is passionate about fetal medicine units, fertility, vulvovaginal aesthetic procedures, and laser rejuvenation. She has received extensive training in obstetric and gynecological emergencies, multiple cesarean scars, ovarian cystectomy, myomectomy, hysterectomy, anterior pelvic repair, and vaginal hysterectomy.
