Dr. Selma Ben Amara (Reviews) Pediatrician

Dr. Selma Ben Amara currently holds the position of Pediatrics Specialist at Danat Al Emarat Clinic. With more than 15 years of experience, her scope of services includes pediatric and neonatal care, preventive medicine, pediatric allergy and asthma, management of newborn babies and treating children in pediatric outpatient clinics with a variety of chronic disabling conditions such as kidney problems.

Prior to joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr. Selma worked as pediatrics specialist in Al Rahba Hospital in Abu Dhabi for over 6 years and in other reputable hospitals and centers in UAE and region.

She earned her Medical Degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis, Tunisia in 1999 followed by her Master’s Degree in Pediatrics in 2004. She also completed her residency program in pediatrics, neonatology, dermatology, birth defects, newborn metabolic disorders, pediatric surgery and pediatric nephrology. She is certified as an instructor by the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) for the European Pediatric Life Support Courses (EPLS) since 2007, and for the Basic Life Support (BLS) since 2009.
