Dr. Shabana Aziz, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Family Medicine department of the Medical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Aziz worked at the Dubai Health Authority as a Specialist in Family Medicine. Before moving to Dubai, Dr. Aziz worked as a Practitioner in Family Medicine in Brunei Darussalam for multiple years and before that, with the Ministry of Health in Muscat, Oman.
Dr. Aziz received her medical degree from Bolan Medical College in Quetta, Pakistan after which she completed her internship at King Saud Medical City in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Upon completion, Dr. Aziz continued to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Directorate General of Health Affairs in Oman. She went on to receive additional training in the United Kingdom, earning her Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow, UK.
Dr. Aziz is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and also holds a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Psychological Skills and Mental Health Competencies.
Dr. Aziz resides in Abu Dhabi with her husband and three children. She enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, swimming and gardening.
