Dr. Shamim Ahmed

With more than 25 years in the field, Dr .Shamim Ahmed is a highly experienced paediatrician. He graduated from Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad, Pakistan in 1982, and continued his practice in Pakistan and MOH Saudi Arabia. He did his residency at National Institute of Child Health, Karachi and completed his membership as well as fellowship in Paediatrics from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan and worked as Assistant Professor of Paediatrics at Hamdard College of Medicine and Dentistry, Karachi and also served as consultant paediatrician at 7TH Day Karachi Adventist Hospital. He has been extensively involved in the teaching of medical students and residents in both Hamdard College of Medicine and Dentistry and 7th Day Karachi Adventist Hospital.    Dr Ahmed has gained a wide range of experience in both primary and secondary care in Paediatrics and is competent in allergies and asthma, as well as other respiratory illnesses. He particularly enjoys seeing neonates as well as children's gastrointestinal problems. Dr Ahmed is highly focused on patient care and problem solving.
