Dr. Shibu Mathews

Dr.Shibu Mathews graduated from Government Medical College Kottayam,Kerala in the year 1999. He pursued his post graduation MS in general surgery (2004) and superspecialisation MCh in Urology (2007) from the same college. He was.adjudged the best outgoing student and cleared MS and MCh with distinction from MG University. He underwent specialised training at the prestigious Mujibhai institute, Ahmedabad for key hole surgeries for kidney stones. He is a member and at present,a fellow of the Royal college of surgeons of Edinburgh,UK. He has a fellowship in laparoscopic geries (FMAS) from the World Laparoscopy institute (WALS). Dr.Shibu has worked at Medical pitals in central Kerala for sur college Kottayam for a year and then asa visiting consultant to various hos five years,before coming to UAE. He has been with Ahalia medical group, Abudhabi since March 2013.

He is actively involved in holding medical camps and radio talks to increase awareness of urological diseases among the general public. His special areas of interest include kidney stones,prostatic diseases,male sexual dysfunction and infertility.
