Dr. Shyam Vadivelmurugan

Dr. Shyam is a General and Interventional Cardiologist with vast experience of over 18 yrs in enhancing the cardiovascular health of the patients. He obtained his MBBS in 1995 from Trivandrum medical College, Kerala and MD in Internal medicine in 2002 from Madras Medical College. He completed his Diplomate National Board- Cardiology in 2014 from Pushpagiri Medical College.

Dr. Shyam is experienced in treating all aspects of cardiovascular disease including complex coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, congestive heart failure, cardiac emergencies, Temporary and permanent pacemaker insertion and arrhythmias. Dr. Shyam has worked extensively at various Hospitals and Cardiac care centres in India and UAE. In India, He has worked with Sunrise Hospital and Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in India, Prior to joining NMC in Al Ain, Dr. Shyam worked at a Private Hospital in Abu Dhabi.  During his tenure there, he provided state-of-the-art care for treating coronary artery disease with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI). Dr. Shyam aims to build his practice with the most recent innovations in General and Interventional, and provide the best treatment options and clinical outcomes for all his patients.
