Dr. Siddiqua is an obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 12 years of experience. She started her training in India in one of the renowned tertiary care centres (Bangalore Medical college) in 2004. Later she worked as a consultant in Ottapalam, Kerala, following which she continued with her education at GKNM hospital and completed DNB (from NBE, New Delhi) in 2012. She started her training in the UK working as a Speciality Registrar at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust, Halifax and completed MRCOG in 2017.
Dr.Siddiqua’s obstetric skills include providing antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care to low risk and high risk women including managing obstetric emergencies. She is well versed in conducting normal vaginal delivery including instrumental delivery and caesarean section. She performs gynaecological procedures such as dilatation and curettage, suction evacuation, abdominal hysterectomy, perineal tear repair and ovarian cystectomy. She also does basic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy procedures. She provides counselling for basic infertility workup, PCOS, contraception and cervical cancer screening.
