Dr. Simone Battibugli

Dr. Simone Battibugli is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with over 10 years of clinical and research experience. She specializes in treating traumatic, congenital and complex neuromuscular conditions, with an emphasis on function and improving quality of life.

Dr. Battibugli completed her orthopedic training at the Federal University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, followed by two consecutive fellowship programs at children’s hospitals in the US. After serving on the faculty at a large university hospital in San Paulo she relocated to the UAE in 2014.

Specialties

Broad and specialized management of pediatric orthopedic conditions including congenital foot, lower limb deformities and other congenital and acquired musculoskeletal pathologies in children; and neuromuscular diseases affecting the immature musculoskeletal system, including cerebral palsy, myelomeningocele, spina bifida and arthrogryposis multiplex congenita.
