Dr. Sobia Farooq

Dr. Sobia Farooq, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Respiratory Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. She specializes in the treatment of respiratory diseases and sleep disorders.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Farooq worked as a Consultant Physician at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group in Washington, D.C., US.

Dr. Farooq received her medical degree from the Rawalpindi Medical College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, US. She completed her fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Metrohealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, US.
