Dr. Sophia Shamshad

Dr Sophia Shamshad is a British Family Medicine Consultant specialising in accident and emergency, geriatrics, general medicine, paediatrics, psychiatry, and gynaecology.

After graduating from the Queen Mary University of London in 2010 with a bachelor’s in Medicine and Surgery, Dr Sophia obtained her MRCGP in 2015 and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK. Before joining King’s, she gained a wealth of practice experience as the Lead Clinician for clinical governance in a Central London NHS Practice.

She continues to practice on the NHS in London, keeping her up to speed with current evidence-based guidelines. Her forte lies in engaging with her patients and colleagues to break down complex medical problems and offering patient-centred solutions using her ethos and knowledge.
