Dr. Surendra R. Shetty

Dr. Surendra Shetty completed his MBBS and MS Orthopaedics from the reputed Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India. He is an AO Fellow in Orthopaedic Trauma (Austria). Dr. Surendra then joined Govt WENLOCK Hospital, Mangalore, India and TMA Rotary Hospital for his residency for orthopaedics. Dr. Surendra after completing his residency has worked in various renowned hospitals in Mumbai, India.

Dr. Surendra also has a number of research and publications in his credit. He also has presented many papers both local and international. He keeps himself updated in his chosen field by attending conferences and workshops local and international.

Dr. Surendra Shetty has more than 20 years of experience in the field of orthopaedics working as a visiting Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon in Mumbai, India before moving to the UAE and joining NMCSH Abu Dhabi as a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon.

Dr. Surendra is well trained in all types of complex trauma surgeries including minimally invasive techniques.

His special area of Interest is in Trauma, Replacement Surgeries and General Orthopaedics.
