Dr. Talat graduated with honors, distinction in Physiology and awarded Best Graduate award among five medical schools. She then had her internship at UT South Western – Dallas, Texas and did her Anesthesiology training 2002-2005 at Baylor College Medicine in the heart of Texas Medical Center in Houston, which is one of the largest medical complexes in the US.

Baylor College of Medicine is affiliated with hospitals including Ben Taub Hospital (leading trauma center in the US), Texas children’s hospital (leading children’s specialty hospital in the US), Methodist hospital (leading cardiovascular institute in Texas), the Veterans Affairs hospital and ICU rotation at MD Anderson Cancer centre (leading cancer hospital in the US).
