Dr Afifi has more than 20 years of experience in various posts across the UAE and abroad, including medical missions in Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan, Jordan, and as a special field programme trainee for Arab Aliens in Yemen. In addition to his practice at Mediclinic, he also works with Zayed Military Hospital, an affiliated hospital with several governmental hospitals across the UAE as a Neuro-strokologist, prior to which he was appointed as a Royal palace physician. He is also a member of a teaching programme in Zayed Military Hospital for Arab board residents.
