Dr. Tareq M. Aleinati, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Heart and Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Aleinati was the Chairman of the Cardiothoracic Department at Chest Diseases Hospital, Kuwait, where he held the position for several years. During this period, he introduced and established an Advanced Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiac Surgery Program, as well as several new technologies to Kuwait and the surrounding region.
Dr. Aleinati received his medical degree from The Faculty of Medicine, Kuwait University. He completed his residency in Cardiac Surgery at McMaster University, Ontario, Canada, as well as two fellowships at the University of Toronto and at McGill University Montreal, both in Canada.
