Dr. Thanda Lucy Ann Joshua

Dr. Thanda Lucy Ann Joshua holds a D.M. (Medical Oncology) from Cancer Institute (WIA), Chennai, India. She obtained her post graduate degree -M.D (General Medicine) from Father Muller Medical College, Karnataka, India in 2009 and M.B.B.S. from Kasturba Medical College, Karnataka, India in 2006.

In 2010, she started her career as an Assistant Professor in the department of General Medicine in her home country where she was actively involved in the undergraduate training programme. Thereafter she worked as a Senior Registrar in department of Medicine and Nephrology at Apollo Hospital, India till she joined the reputed Cancer Institute (WIA) Chennai one of the oldest institutions rendering comprehensive Oncology training and affordable quality oncology care in India. Having completed her superspeciality degree (DM Medical oncology) at the institute with training in Adult and pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant, haemato oncology and solid tumour oncology under one of the most senior medical oncologists in India, she went on to work as Assistant Professor at the same institute which involved training of DM candidates, research work and round the clock quality patient care.

She is a member of the Indian Medial Association and her areas of special interest include haemato oncology breast,ovarian,cervical, lung and colorectal cancers, oncological emergency management, chemotherapy day care services, out-patient care and bone marrow transplant.
