Dr. Timothy Shaughnessy

Dr. Timothy Shaughnessy received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan and his Master of Science degree in Orthodontics from the University of North Carolina. He was a recipient of a National Research Fellowship while at UNC. His research during residency earned him the Award of Special Merit from the American Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Tim has also received the Honor of Fellowship from the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Shaughnessy has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics since 1990. He has published numerous articles in the orthodontic literature and is a frequent speaker at universities and orthodontic conferences. He will be speaking at the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Meeting in Los Angeles in 2019. Dr. Shaughnessy is now seeing patients at our Dubai and Abu Dhabi branches.
