Dr. Vanitha Ramalingam

Dr. Vanitha Ramalingam has earned her MBBS degree in 2000 at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, India – ‘an institute of national importance and a tertiary care referral hospital’ and DNB (Pediatrics) in 2008 at Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital (KKCTH), Chennai, India - a multi-disciplinary tertiary pediatric institution.

Dr. Vanitha has 9 years of experience in the field of General Pediatrics, both in India and UAE. She has worked with some of the reputed medical colleges in INDIA as Senior Resident / Assistant Professor (Pediatrics) and was involved in the teaching of Under-graduate and Post-graduate students. In 2014, she moved to the UAE and joined in a private hospital in Al Ain as a Specialist Pediatrician. Her interests include managing acute infectious disease in children, breast feeding counselling, development and nutritional assessment, weaning advice, vaccination, preventive guidance for common childhood illness, pediatric asthma and allergy.

She has published papers in renowned journals and keeps herself updated by attending conferences and workshops.
