Dr. Vera Beni

Dr. Vera obtained her MBBS from Clinical Center University of Sarajevo, Federal Ministry of Health and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the University of Sarajevo - Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has done postgraduate Ultrasonography in Gynaecology and Fetal Medicine from the Medical University of Zagreb - Croatia, Advanced Life Support Group M.O.E.T (RCOG), 3D & 4D Sonography Course-Prof. Dr. Asim Kurjak , Budva Montenegro. She has also completed Gynaecological Endoscopy Course Outpatient Bettocchi Hysteroscopy in addition to certificate of Hysteroscopy, Early Detection of Cervical Cancer & Colposcopy Course, Clinical Center Ljubljana , Slovenia and Malignant Dysplasia of genital tract Cytology and Diagnosis Course, Government Hospital Maribor , Slovenia.

Dr. Vera has 18 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology; she has been associated with government hospitals in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the UAE she initially worked as an observer at Corniche Hospital and then practiced as Specialist at Al Noor Hospital, Abu Dhabi before joining Brightpoint Royal Women’s Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Dr. Vera is a member of many associations including ECCA - European Cervival Cancer Association, Association of Gynaecologists & Perinatologists of Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatian Medical Association for ultrasonography in medicine and biology. Dr. Vera is fluent in English, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, Macedonian and basic Arabic.

Her areas of interest include is pregnancy care, pelvic pain, infertility, menopausal care, vaginal surgeries and detection of cervical cancer (colposcopy).
