Dr. Zaid Garaibeh

Mr. Zaid Garaibeh is Speech and Language Pathologist at ACPN. He attained his Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2011. He is a member of the Emirates Speech Language Pathology Society.

Mr. Garaibeh has accumulated over 9 years of clinical experience. He has practiced in Dubai as Speech Therapist at DHHC, Dubai before joining ACPN in 2019. He has practiced SLT in the UAE since 2011 with various entities in private and public healthcare sectors. His experience in Speech and Language Pathology involved him working at the Ministry of Community Development in Dubai, UAE since 2013 where he worked as a Senior Speech and Language Pathologist until 2016. Prior to his appointment at the MOCD, Dubai he worked in Abu Dhabi as Audiology and SLT at the Abilities Development Center for Special Needs; and Sharjah for a period of 1 year at the Dar Al Atta Center for Speech and Language.

Mr. Garaibeh worked in different settings including schools, clinical rehab centers, as well as special needs centers. His clinical experience includes working with children and adults with various degrees of speech, language and communication disorders, including providing therapy sessions for conditions including language delay, stuttering, articulation disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), hearing impairment, language disorders, Auditory Processing Disorder and intellectual disabilities. He provides parental guidance, performs speech and language assessments, conducts school visits and offers recommendations for schools, teachers and caregivers. He is also an active speaker and delivers seminars and workshops related to speech and language disorders. Mr. Garaibeh is a TLP Certified Provider and is also trained in Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT). He is also skilled at using Assistive Technology Programs for people with hearing or speech impediments. He has extensive experience of early intervention and autistic disorders by way of assessment and development of therapeutic programs.
