Dr. Zulfiqar Hussain

Dr. Zulfiqar Hussain, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, who specializes in the treatment of neuromuscular diseases, electrodiagnostic testing and intraoperative neurophysiology.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Hussain was a Staff Neurologist at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, where he helped expand and create a collaborative neuroscience department with other hospitals and healthcare systems in Northeast Ohio.

Dr. Hussain received his medical degree from the Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad, Pakistan. He completed his residency in Neurology at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio, US, where he also completed a fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine. He completed another fellowship in Intraoperative Monitoring and Neuromuscular Diseases at the Weill Cornell Medical College Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, New York, US.

Dr. Hussain has taken part in several charitable initiatives and was recently involved in a program providing kidney dialysis machines to impoverished areas in his home country, Pakistan.
