Hamida Rehmani

Dr. Rehmani received her MBBS from Pakistan. She went on to complete her MRCOG and FRCOG from the UK. Dr. Rehmani has completed her requirements of Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery at the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Singapore and training in Infertility and Assisted Reproductive Technology at Southmead Hospital in Bristol, UK.

Dr. Rehmani has Full Registration of General Medical Council (U.K) and has CCST of the Speciality in United Kingdom. She is also registered with the RCOG (UK) as well as the CPD program of Corniche Hospital.

Dr. Rehmani has been a Consultant (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) at Corniche Hospital since 1987. She has also served as an Acting Chief of Service from 2009 to 2011 alternating every six months with Chairman of Credentialing and Privileging. Dr. Rehmani is currently Chairperson of the Credentialing and Privileging.

Dr. Rehmani was the Chairperson of Perinatal Statistics from 1990 to 2009 at Corniche Hospital and held monthly meetings of Birth Trauma and HIE. She was in Charge of the CME of the hospital from 1990 for around 10 years. Dr. Rehmani was in Charge of the Duty Rota of all Grades from 1987 to 2011 and for training of clinical attachments.

Dr. Rehmani has been instrumental in setting up a dedicated Infertility Unit in Corniche Hospital in 1988. Prior to her joining Corniche Hospital, Dr. Rehmani has served in several UK hospitals from 1979 to 1986 including Whittington Hospital, Hedon Maternity Hospital, The Royal Northern Hospital and the City of London Maternity Hospital.

Dr. Rehmani has received the McNeill Love Prize in Surgery by the Royal Northern Hospital, UK in 1981.

Actvities:
Dr. Rehmani holds a special interest in Reproductive medicine and has looked after subfertility patient’s investigations and treatment besides performing minimal access surgery. She has good experience in performing Caesarean Hysterectomy and looking after high risk Obstetric cases. Dr. Rehmani has been involved very closely in training of surgical skills of Senior Registrars, Specialists and Medical Practitioners.
