Dr. Hans Werner Fuchs took his medical education at Ruhr University, Germany in 1975 and finished his MD at Justus-Liebig University, Germany in 1981. He then got a Specialist Degree (Facharzt) in General Surgery in 1992; in Traumatology in 1998; and in Orthopedic Surgery in 1999.
Dr. Hans practiced in various hospitals in Germany until 2001, then moved to UK where he worked as a Consultant in London & Droitwich Knee Clinic then in South Tyneside Foundation Trust - for a total of 10 years. In 2012, he began practicing in a specialty hospital in Dubai, UAE, where he helped build a General Orthopedic Department offering a wide range of Elective and Trauma procedures. His special interests are trauma, Arthroscopic Surgery (mainly knee), and Joint Replacements including revision surgeries.
