Dr. Iviano Ossuetta received his MBBS from the College of Medical Sciences University of Benin, Nigeria and his FRCPH and MRCP from the UK. In addition, he has a CCST in Neonatal Medicine and Pediatric Medicine with a rich experience of pediatric training in subspecialty pediatrics including pediatric surgery, pediatric intensive care, hematology and oncology, gastroenterology and pediatric liver disease in a number of hospitals in the UK.

Dr. Ossuetta is a Consultant Neonatal Medicine in Corniche Hospital since 2011. Prior to joining Corniche Hospital, Dr. Ossuetta provided neonatal and pediatric echocardiology service at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital from 2005 to 2011. He was a lead Clinician for the Beds and Herts Perinatal Network in the East of England NHS perinatal network, a lead Clinician for research and in neonatal medicine at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital and he was also the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) College Tutor for Pediatrics at Neonatal Medicine at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. He was an honorary consultant in the Cardiology department at Great Ormond street Hospital for Sick Children.

Activities:
Dr. Ossuetta is a physician representative at the SEHA Pediatric Service Line Council established to review the development of a defined care pathway for pediatric services in Abu Dhabi. He is also a member of the Physicians Advisory Council (PAC) at the SEHA/CERNER council for electronic medical records EMR.Dr. Ossuetta has a number of research and publications and published abstracts to his credit including “Parathormone (PTH) as a useful early marker for the monitoring of a metabolic bone disease” and “Treatment and national Surveillance Study of extended spectrum beta lactamase producing organism infection in neonatal units of England and Wales”.
