Dr. Jairam K. Aithal qualified his MBBS at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India in 1995. He then took his MD in Internal Medicine at the same university in 2000, where he ranked 2nd in his category. In 2003, Dr. Jairam took his Cardiology Diploma (DM) and was awarded the President of India Gold Medal for overall academic and general proficiency - the only recipient for that year.

He came to UAE in 2010 and backed his qualifications with 13 years of experience in Interventional Cardiology. He has published 11 papers and 30 abstracts in international journals.

He then successfully completed a 3-year fellowship in Advanced Coronary Interventions from 2 reputed world-class facilities in Australia. He furthered his interventional cardiology skills with an additional fellowship in peripheral interventions (ballooning/stenting arteries of the brain, kidneys, arms, legs, etc.) from one of the world's best centers in Germany. He came to UAE in 2010 and backed his qualifications with 13 years of experience in Interventional Cardiology. He has published 11 papers and 30 abstracts in international journals.
