He graduated from University of Aarhus in Denmark in 1984, and continued his practice in Sweden over the following 16 years. He completed a PhD in Drug Sensitivity Testing from University of Uppsala in Sweden and was there appointed as Associate Professor. His work has gone on to be widely published in peer-reviewed journals. In 2000, Dr. Kristensen transferred to the UAE where he worked as a consultant haematologist and Department Head in Tawam

He is the best doctor in SKMC in his department. He is so professional in his diagnosis, sympathetic but real. Most importantly he is positive in realistic way. If something is wrong you know you will get a full detailed picture. I will always owe my life to this doctor and I am happy that I had the pleasure to have been his patient.
