Joseph Kurian

Dr. Joseph Kurian is a Specialist Cardiologist with experience in treating coronary artery disease, heart failure and valvular heart disease. Dr. Kurian also has a special expertise in cardiac imaging procedures including echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography(CT). Dr. Kurian is one of the leading physician whose initiative to improve the quality care of cardiac patients and lower the rate of cardiac readmissions.

Dr. Kurian received a medical degree from TD Medical College in India. He completed his General Medical residency from University Medical College, Kerala, India and Cardiology Fellowship, Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology, Kerala, India and completed a second fellowship( Diplomate of National Board) in General Medicine at University of Mumbai in India.

He also participates as an investigator in various research protocols for newly developed devices to treat coronary and peripheral vascular disease with less invasive techniques. Dr. Kurian has written numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts and lectures on topics ranging from the appropriate use of echocardiography to the treatment of cardiomyopathy.
